Уважаемые специалисты! Помогите разобраться с заболеванием шерсти у моей собаки. Порода- малый немецкий шпиц. Возраст 1год и 8 месяцев. Проблема началась когда ему было 9 месяцев. Начала исчезать щенячья шерсть, а осевой волос в этом месте не вырос. Облысение произошло на бедрах задних ног и по бокам вокруг шеи. Сначала кожа была розовая, но теперь она потемнела и стала темно-серой. Провели гистологию и был поставлен диагноз - Alopecia X. По результатам анализа было назначено лекарство Melatonin Pura по 3 мг. 2 раза в день. Пъем два месяца и результата нет. Болезнь прогресирует. Однако в месте где брали гистологию появилась нормальная шерсть. Питание - сухой корм Hills. Заранее благодарен. Владимир. joi2@inbox.lv

Makroskopischer Befund:
Submitted were three dark haired skin biopsies with a diameter of 0.3
cm. The biopsies were totally embedded for histological examination.
Mikroskopischer Befund:
The following stainings were performed according to standard
operation procedures: H&E, PAS.
In the submitted skin biopsies, the epidermis was slightly
hyperplastic and showed a moderate orthokeratotic hyperkeratosis. In
the dermis, the hair follicles were small and atrophic and in
multiple locations the hair follicles showed marked tricholemmal
keratin.
The staining for fungual structures was negative.
Diagnose
Seborrhoeic dermatosis with hair follicle atrophy and tricholemmal
keratin
Kritischer Bericht:
The findings in the submitted skin biopsies were consistent with a
hormonal-metabolic etiology.
Because of the marked tricholemmal keratin, especially an Alopecia X
has to be considered. Alopecia X is a slowly progressive disease that
affects predominantly dogs between an age of 9 month to 2 years. The
etiology of Alopecia X could not be clarified definitely, though an
endocrine cause is suspected.
To rule out other hormonal causes, other endocrinopathies should be
checked up.
No hints for an ectoparasitosis, for a fungal infection, for an
autoimmune disease or tumorous growth could be found.
